Tell us the three most important things about you
I am married with 2 kids and 3 step kids. And have two nutty french bulldogs.
I love scrapbooking and have just started a memory planner. My other hobby is singing in a Rock choir. Which has given me some of the most wonderful experiences. Singing in amazing places and with amazing Stars.
What inspires you to craft?
My scrapbooking lets me record all the special moments in my life. My albums are like very big diaries of the all the things and places I go in a year.
What is your favourite craft?
I have tried lots of crafts from knitting, sewing, card making, pottery and scrapbooking. But I always go back to my 12×12 layouts.
What is the last thing you made and what did you love about it?
I have just finished a few layouts but out of them my fave would be a page about a night out with the girls, the paper I used matched the event we went to. I love it when my page comes together with paper and embellishments all matching a theme.
When do you craft?
I craft whenever I get a couple of hours spare and try to have a day a month just for me to spend scrapbooking
Most loved craft tool (apart from your cutting machine!)
My other favourite craft tool apart from my silhouette cameo is my Brother P-Touch 1200 labeller. Great for adding text to my page and you never run out of letters.
Best piece of advice for someone just starting out with their cutting machine?
If you are new to a cutting machine my advise would be to cut out an alphabet first. You can get used to setting for your card and paper. But then you will still have some thing to use even if not all the letters cut properly.
What is your favourite one of our files and why?
Love the free Heart file. You can make it look completely different just by using a variety of backing papers or not using any (if you missed this freebie sign up to our newsletter to make sure you get notifications of all our free files as they become available).
Apart from ours which is your favourite webpage to get files from?
I also get cut files from a website called Paperissues.
