How to Create a Wedding Scrapbook page using your Silhouette or Cricut | by Lyn

When I saw this lovely Bride and Groom cut file in Helen’s Craft Studio I knew it would be a perfect fit for one of my many wedding photos I still have sitting waiting to scrap.

Materials Needed:

  • Plane white cardstock
  • Bride and Groom cutting file
  • Simple stories – Romance paper
  • 3D sticky pads

Cutting out the file in Silhouette Studio

In Silhouette Studio I enlarged the file to cover about 2/3rds of a 12×12 page. Using the following setting and using Plain White Cardstock I cut my bride and groom.

Blade 6
Speed 5
Force 15
Passes 2

I backed the bride with some shiny white – off white paper and the groom’s shirt and bouquet with purple paper as that was my colour scheme for my wedding.

Placing the bride and groom to the left of the page I stuck this down with some 3D sticky pads.

Next using some chipboard stickers from Simple Stories Love & Adore collection I put my title off to the other side.

Then I stuck my photo on the page popping it under the cut file very slightly and at an angle. Using my WRM Word Punch Board I punched the date out on matching purple paper. I finished off with a Simple Stories Love & Adore heart in the top right and a Bramble Fox Cherub

A quick and easy layout.
